History:
Kensington Heights, an early suburb of London, was surveyed on land owned by William and Samual Glass, respectively the sheriff and deputy sheriff of Middlesex County. Located in the neighbourhood of the present day Woodward Avenue and Riverside Drive, this area was annexed by the city in 1897.
